Ball Stops, also referred to as Cable Stops or Bumper Stops, are generally used on reels that are manually operated in a Lift/Drag application to govern retraction length.  Stops are required when cable-end accessories such as hand lamps and receptacle boxes are installed on the reels and are included with all 1200 Series reels.  Ball stops are included on 1400 and 1500 reels designed for “Lift/Drag” applications.

The "Type A" Ball Stop with spring is to be used with 1200 or 1400 reels only.  Not for use with the 1500 Series Hazardous Duty reels.
